Ordered the fish and chips at Napper Tandy's expecting the usual… decent at best, forgettable at worst. This was neither. They don't mess around with the portion—this was a big fish filet. Not one of those thin, sad pieces hiding under breading. Thick, flaky, and cooked like someone actually cared. The outside had that perfect crisp that doesn't fall apart or turn greasy halfway through. Listen… fish and chips is one of those dishes that can either be incredible or taste like regret. This one showed up on the right side of that line. 10/10 would absolutely order the same thing again and not even consider the menu.

This Guinness BBQ Burger is amazing! Everything just works together — the cheddar, bacon, onion rings, and that Guinness BBQ sauce make it super tasty. Honestly, one of the best burgers I've had in a while.

Listen, if you're looking for a bit of grease to coat the soul, Napper Tandy's is the holy grail. I walked in feeling like a dried-up shamrock and left feeling like a king—albeit a king who needs a nap and a larger pair of trousers. The Verdict: Pure Magic • The Fish: Pieces of cod so large I nearly asked them for their passport. The batter was crispier than a Sunday morning lecture from your Ma. • The Chips: Thick, hand-cut, and salty enough to make a mermaid thirsty. • The Vibe: So authentic I almost started paying in Euros and complaining about the weather. It's the best thing to happen to the town of Angier since... well, since they realized they could fry things this well. Honestly, if this fish were any fresher, it'd still be telling me lies about the one that got away. Rating: 10/10. Go eat it before I come back and finish the lot myself!

Got the wontons at Napper Tandy's expecting a standard appetizer. You know… something to snack on while waiting for the real food. That plan fell apart immediately. These were the kind of wontons that make you pause mid-bite and reconsider your past decisions. Crispy, zingy (is that a word?), and dangerously easy to keep eating like you have no self-control. Which, for the record, I didn't. By the end, I wasn't sharing. I was managing the situation. 10/10 would absolutely sabotage my own expectations again.

Fish was crispy and very tasty. So much I could not eat it all. Chips were amazing as well. Highly recommend! You will definitely get your moneys worth. Can't wait to go back!

I had been craving a good soft pretzel so I was excited to see Pretzel Planks on the menu. The pretzel planks were thick, soft, and came out warm. The beer cheese dipping sauce was great! Will definitely be a go to appetizer for me each visit.
